Creating Your Relaxation Plan

Our to do list may include paying bills, shopping, house chores, getting a haircut or going to the gym but it should also include a relaxation activity.

A relaxation plan can be prepared by listing all the things that you feel would help you relax and empty your mind. This list would then give you options to pick from when creating your to do list.

Relaxing isn’t just something for a treat, it is important for your health. When your mind is active your body is using a lot of energy to support your emotions and immunity.

The list can include:

  • A massage
  • Listening to meditative music
  • A bath with epsom salts
  • A walk in nature
  • Swimming in the ocean
  • Deep breathing exercises
  • Singing
  • Meditating
  • Any activity which helps you focus and not think too much
  • Time with animals
